Cacao & Chia Seed Truffles

These truffles are the perfect chocolate treat loaded with protein, fiber, antioxidants and omegas! They require no baking time and are a hit with the little ones as well! They store well in the fridge for days and are great to have in the house for when that chocolate craving hits! Try them out!
Ingredients:
2 cups of almond flour
½ cup of coconut sugar
¼ cup of chia seeds
¼ cup of maple syrup
2 tbsp of cacao powder
2 tsp of ground cinnamon
2 tbsp of cacao powder set aside for later
¼ cup of coconut milk
Directions:
In a medium bowl, add in the almond flour, coconut sugar, chia seeds, cacao powder and cinnamon and mix well. Then pour in the maple syrup and coconut milk and mix again. Then in a smaller bowl add the 2 tbsp of cacao powder and set it aside Wash and dry your hands. Then start rolling one inch balls by hand and then toss them around in the cacao powder and set them on a plate sprayed with non- stick spray. Once finished, stick them in the fridge to chill for at least one hour before serving and then enjoy!
*This recipe makes about 24 truffles.
