Chocolate Pecan Brownies



Chocolate, rich, indulgent brownies with roasted pecans that are both refined sugar and gluten free are the way to this girl's heart! They are delicious and rich and the perfect treat for the whole family! Now get bakin' and then...enjoy!


Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of rice flour

  • 1 ½ cup of almond flour

  • ½ cup of enjoy life dark chocolate chips

  • ¼ cup of enjoy life dark chocolate chips (set aside for later)

  • ¾ cup of coconut oil

  • 2 tbsp of cocao powder

  • ¾ cup of organic maple syrup

  • ½ cup of coconut sugar

  • ½ tsp of baking powder

  • 2 eggs

  • ¾ cup of chopped pecans

  • ¼ cup of coconut milk


Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Then, in a small saucepan, cook together both the ½ cup of chocolate chips and the coconut oil together on low heat until melted. In the meantime, grab a medium bowl and add in all of the dry ingredients (aside from the remainder of the chocolate chips)and then stir. Then, add in the maple syrup, eggs, coconut milk and melted chocolate sauce.Once the batter is combined well, add in the chocolate chips and stir well. Pour the batter mixture into an 8x8 baking pan that’s been sprayed with non cook spray. Place the brownies in the oven and allow them to bake for 30 minutes. Allow them to then cool on the stove top and then enjoy!
