Honey & Cinnamon Baked Pears



Move over apple cobbler! These honey and cinnamon baked pears are the new star of the show! They are sweet yet they offer all of the spicy flavors of Fall! Enjoy them on their own as a side dish or as a dessert paired with a scoop of non dairy ice cream and you'll be in pure heaven! If you are hosting for Thanksgiving, these will be a crowd pleaser for sure! One way or another, give them a try and you won't be sorry!


Ingredients:

  • 4 halved organic pears

  • 2 tbsp of organic honey

  • 1 tsp of cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp of nutmeg

  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract


Directions:


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Dice each pear in half and place them in a Pyrex dish. Then in a small pan, add in the honey, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla extract and cook on low. Then, once it has reached a liquid consistency, drizzle the mixture evenly amongst the pears and then place them in the oven for 30 minutes. Then, allow them to cool for 5 minutes and then serve alone or with a scoop of non dairy ice cream. Then, ENJOY!
