Honey & Cinnamon Roasted Chickpeas

This protein rich snack is both sweet and crunchy and super easy to make! They are loaded with fiber and antioxidants and they will give you long lasting energy for hours! These little legumes store well at room temperature in an air tight jar for days on the kitchen counter and they are also a great snack on the go when out and about! Try them out!


  • One 25 oz. can of chickpeas

  • ¼ cup of honey

  • ¼ cup of coconut sugar

  • 1 tbsp. of cinnamon


Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Then, open and drain the can of chickpeas and place them on a sprayed baking sheet and pat them dry with a paper towel. Bake the plain chickpeas at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Then in a small mixing bowl add in the roasted chickpeas, honey, coconut sugar and cinnamon and toss thoroughly. Then pour out the chickpeas onto the pan and disperse them evenly and bake them for the remainder of 15 minutes. Allow them to cool and then start snacking on them immediately or store them at room temperature for later. Enjoy!
