Who doesn't love a healthy, festive side dish with a little pop of red and green color? These brussel sprouts with this sweet and tangy cranberry sauce is the perfect side dish for Christmas dinner and it is a crowd pleaser for both the little ones and adults! Try it out this season!
Ingredients:
Brussels sprouts:
4 cups of brussel sprouts
2 tbsp of KG butter
1/4 cup of slivered almonds
Cranberry sauce:
1 cup of organic cranberries
1 cup of organic cranberry juice
1/4 cup of organic maple syrup
1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
Directions:
In a small pot, cook the cranberry sauce ingredients on medium/ high heat and bring to a boil. Cook until you have reached a jam like consistency. Then, sauté the brussel sprouts on medium/ high heat as well and then top them with the cranberry glaze and almonds. Then, ENJOY!
