Cinnamon & Molasses Cookies



Gingerbread seems to get all the hype around the holidays! But this year, I think my new cinnamon and molasses cookies may just very well trump them (if I may say so myself)! Introducing the newest Live Healthy With Laura cookie recipe that is full of all of the festive flavors and textures you crave and that the whole crowd will love! Made up of only clean, wholesome ingredients, these cookies will give you the little pep in your step you've been needing to keep up with all of the hustle and bustle this season! Check them out!


Ingredients:


  • 2 cups of almond flour

  • 1/2 cup of white rice flour

  • 4 tsp of cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp of baking powder

  • 1 tbsp of molasses

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup of maple syrup

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tbsp of avocado oil


Directions:


Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then, in a medium size bowl, toss in the almond and rice flour followed by the cinnamon, baking powder, molasses, vanilla extract, maple syrup and avocado oil and give it a stir. Then, quickly mix in the eggs and stir until your batter has reached a fluffy consistency. Lastly, grease your Pyrex dish or line it with parchment paper and evenly portion out the cookie batter amongst the pan. Bake the cookies for 20 minutes then and allow them to cool. Then...ENJOY!
