Cranberry Pomegranate Margarita



Christmas time and New Years is almost here and that means lots of "cheers"! So, this year I wanted to offer a more health conscious beverage to my audience and followers because as you have heard me say, truly, you are what you drink! We have to take in account not just our food but our beverages as well! Now, I am all about an 80/20 approach and letting loose sometimes but if a margarita can be waistline friendly and delicious at the same time I'd say it's a win win! The cranberry pomegranate margarita recipe is super simple to make and it is a crowd pleaser as well! Check it out!


Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup of cranberry juice

  • 1 tsp of lime juice

  • 1 cup of lime flavored soda water (my favorite brand is Waterloo)

  • 1.5 oz or a shot glass of silver tequila

  • 1 tbsp of agave

  • 1 tbsp of fresh cranberries

  • 1 tbsp of pomegranate seeds

  • lime wedge for garnish


Directions:


Simply combine all of the ingredients in a beverage shaker, shake it up, chill it for thirty minutes (if desired) and then ENJOY! Cheers!


NOTE: Multiply this recipe by six for a crowd.
