Valentines Day, the day dedicated to all the things love and chocolate, is right around the corner! It is no secret that I am a hopeless romantic and a major chocolate phenetic so needless to say, this holiday is one I never fail to celebrate! Today I am sharing with you one of my easy to make, refined sugar free treats that is loaded with healthy fats and serotonin packed nutrients to keep us smiling and feeling all the love this Valentines Day! I hope you give these indulgent, little bites a try and if you can bear to let some go, I hope you will pass some on to your sweetheart as well!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of coconut oil

  • 1 cup of baked believe chocolate chips

  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup of chopped black walnuts (not English walnuts)

  • mini muffin baking cups

Directions:

In a medium saucepan, combine all of the above ingredients and stir slowly until melted. Then, disperse the mixture evenly into mini muffin paper cups and then place them in the fridge to harden for four hours. Then, remove the paper wrappings. Store them in the fridge and limit the time they spend on the counter as they do melt. ENJOY!
