Goat Cheese and Cranberry Greenbean Casserole



Greenbean casserole, one of the most traditional Christmas dishes of all time! Every year, you can find it on our Christmas dinner table but this year I wanted to spruce it up a bit and add a few fun flavors and twists! In this simple dish, your taste buds will be ignited with a mixture of garlic, tangy goat cheese and a little tarte, fruity finish! This recipe not only tastes incredible, but the red and green ensemble of colors will also add the perfect beautiful festive touch to your table! Give it a try!



Ingredients:

  • 2 12 oz bags of organic green beans (snipped)

  • 2/3 cups of avocado oil

  • 1 tsp of salt

  • 1/2 tsp of onion powder

  • 1 tsp of garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp of paprika

  • 1/2 cup of goat cheese

  • 1 cup or dried cranberries

  • 1 cup of chopped walnuts


Directions:


In a medium skillet, toss and sauté your green beans with the avocado oil and seasonings on medium/high heat for twenty minutes. Then, transfer the green beans into a festive, white Pyrex dish (if you have one but if not, any color will work). Lastly, top the green beans with the goat cheese, cranberries and walnuts. Then, ENJOY!
