The Many Dangers Of Artificial Food Dye

You are supposed to eat the rainbow right? Well the answer is yes and no. Eating an array of colors generally is extremely beneficial for your health. Typically a colorful diet means loads of vitmains, minerals, fiber and antioxidant. BUT the kicker is these colors must only come from natural sources period. Artificial food coloring of any kind is extremely harmful to one's health yet unfortunately it is so commonly used and consumed. I try my hardest to diligently teach my clients about the dangers of these food colorings in hopes of convincing them to break up with them for good. I hope this blog post will

convince you to do the same as well!

So let's break down some of the most commonly used and consumed food dyes:

  1. Red 40: linked to several forms of cancer, ADHD and hyperactive mannerisms and mood disorders

  2. Red 3: linked to thyroid cancer specifically

  3. Red 2: linked to bladder tumors

  4. Yellow 5: linked to hyperactivity in children

  5. Yellow 6: possibly linked to adrenal tumors

  6. Blue 1: linked to kidney tumors and asthma

  7. Blue 2: possibly linked to brain tumors

...as you can see artificial food coloring doesn't do any one of us any favors! So, clearly it is in our best interest to avoid them and find a healthy alternative. Enter, Suncore plant derived food coloring! This stuff is truly amazing you guys! The colors they produce are so gorgeous and vibrant and the best part is they come from natural sources! When I discovered this brand a couple months back I became instantly hooked!
