Turkey Chili

Who doesn't love a bowl of warm chili on a cold, fall night? You really can't beat this delicious, cozy and nutritious one pot meal that can be thrown together on even the busiest of weekdays! Not only does this chili recipe make your house smell incredible, but it also fills you up with lean protein, loads of veggies and fiber too at the end of a long day! Make it for a crowd, your family or for yourself and enjoy leftovers for days to come! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 tbsp of avocado oil
1 lb. of ground Turkey
3/4 cup of chopped white onion
1 16 oz can of tomato sauce
1 16 oz can of diced tomatoes
1 16 can of dark red kidney beans
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
2 tsp of ground cumin
1 tsp of garlic powder
2 tsp of pink Himalayan salt
Directions:
In a medium to large crock pot, add in your ground turkey and top it with the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and beans and then give it a stir. Next, add in your chili powder, Italian seasoning, cumin, garlic and salt and stir once more. Lastly, secure the lid and turn your crockpot on low and cook for 8-10 hours. Lastly, enjoy it with a dallop of organic sour cream (optional) and then dig in!
